Tony Hodges is the creative director, co-founder and driving force behind the company and has brought the greatest young and experienced talent together to form the organic creative soup that is TLCMedia.
After meeting Chris Cummins on the set of a British feature film, TLC was born. Tony and Chris then went on to put together a 9 camera live edit shoot in Manchester – the documentary ‘The Ben Roe Show’ - as their first project together and have since formulated a number of TV projects that are currently in deep pre-production.
“Tony is a pleasure to work along side. He literally has an idea a minute. His energy knows no bounds - creation just happens around him.”
Tony was a successful club and radio DJ for 18 years before moving into the private business sector, but a rather cool unknown fact about our Creative Producer is that he is also a very fine actor and has appeared on the big screen with the seasoned professional Dennis Waterman as well as starring in a film based on the poem ‘The Raven.’
Using his innovative idea’s he has created a company that not only produces high end TV and film but diversifies from iphone applications and interactive film and TV to online shopping concepts and promotions.
“I’ve gathered around me some of the most creative TV and Film production talent in the business. My team is slick and we have meshed into one hell of a formidable media company. Coming to work everyday is a pleasure – there aren’t that many people that can actually say that and mean it, well I do.”

This hard working, creative perfectionist commands respect in a quiet subtle way, enabling his team to flourish and be at their best on set, and every team that has had the pleasure of working with him attests to his professionalism, firm confidence and ease of character.
“I strive to make every image look like a beautiful picture… if you were to take a single frame from the video- that frame should have a perfect aesthetic to the eye.”
